To Request an Appointment

Before requesting an interview, please make sure that you meet the following conditions:

• Your I-600 has been pre-approved and you have a completed the Giving and Receiving Ceremony
• You have obtained a Vietnamese Passport for your child

To request or change an appointment for an immigrant visa interview for an adopted child, please fill out our appointment request form, available either as a Word document or pdf file. Please be sure to fill out all fields. After filling out this form, please send it to hanoiadoptions@state.gov.

To Change an Appointment

If you need to change an existing appointment, please fill out the appointment request form, available as either a Word document or pdf file. Indicate that you are changing an existing appointment in the “Remarks” box. Then, please send the form to hanoiadoptions@state.gov. We will send a new appointment notice by email.
