If you would like to be an American Center member, please register. Our office is located on the 1st Floor of the Rose Garden Tower at 170 Ngoc Khanh Street, Hanoi. You can leave your vehicle at VKO Supermarket's vehicle keeping area. Remember to take your ID with you.
Triweekly Game and Conversation Hour

Come join Isabella for an hour of English conversation and games every Monday and Wednesday! Fridays she will be doing a program with English tongue twisters and riddles. These events DO NOT require registration.

The number of Vietnamese students studying abroad is increasing fast in recent years. Some of them decided to stay and work there after graduation. Many others are seeking for opportunities to work overseas, even as ordinary workers. Do you thing this phenomena is good or bad for Vietnam? Do some researches, explore the facts and figures and present your creative ideas at the American Center Debate Club!
Book Discussion Club “Charlotte’s Web”

Have you ever felt like discussing books with your peers? Well, look no further! The American Center’s Book Club is back and better than ever. The next Book Club will be held on December 16 and discuss the classic Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. We have 25 copies of the book to enable many people to read it but first come, first served. If you wish to attend the Book Club register here now to borrow one copy of the book before the event. Deadline to borrow the book is December 10, 2011. The Book Club will also feature activities such as puzzles and role playing –don’t miss it!

Author Angie Chau will share her perspectives as a Vietnamese-American writer, discuss the inspiration for her work, and give tips for success. Drawing on her experience as an executive recruiter, she will also talk about best practices applicable to women writers and female professionals in advancing their careers. Angie Chau is based in San Francisco, California and is the author of the critically acclaimed story collection, Quiet As They Come.
