U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel to hold press roundtable, October 6

U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel will hold a roundtable to brief Hanoi-based reporters about his visit to Vietnam.  The roundtable will take place on Friday, October 6, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.  Location:  Hai Phong Room, Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel, #1 Le Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi.

Interested journalists are invited to attend this press roundtable.  Please register your names with Mr. Pham Thuc, U.S. Embassy Press Assistant, at phone 04-831-4580 x 153 or email phamtt@state.gov.  The roundtable will last for about only 30 minutes.  Please arrive no later than 5:15 p.m. 

Senator Chuck Hagel will be in Hanoi on October 5-6 and will have meetings with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Gia Khiem, Minister of Defense Phung Quang Thanh, and Minister of Finance Vu Van Ninh.
