Fulbright Program in Vietnam to Celebrate 15th Anniversary August 25, 2007

Program in Vietnam will hold a special anniversary celebration of its 15 years of educational support to Vietnam on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at La Residence Hotel in the beautiful central city of Hue.  U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Michael W. Michalak will open the program.  United States Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Kenneth J. Fairfax, and representatives from the Government of Vietnam will also participate.

The anniversary will start at 1:30 p.m. with a symposium titled "15 Years of Fulbright in Vietnam: 1992-2007," with alumni presentations and panel discussions on the impact and future of the Fulbright Program.  The day’s events will culminate in an Anniversary Dinner that evening.
