U.S. Ambassador Visits Yen Bai and Phu Tho Provinces

U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Michael W. Marine will visit Yen Bai and Phu Tho provinces June 26-27. 

In Yen Bai, the Ambassador will call on Principal Deputy Party Secretary Hoang Thuong Luong and the Provincial People Committee Chairman Hoang Xuan Loc.  He will also visit provincial boarding school for ethnic pupils, and the World Vision Area Development Project at Van Yen District.

In Phu Tho, Ambassador Marine will meet with the Principal Deputy Party Secretary Nguyen Van San  and Phu Tho People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Doan Khanh.  He will also visit the ORBIS International project at Phu Tho Center for Disease Control, and the Children of Peace International Center for Handicapped and Orphan Children. The Ambassador will conclude his trip in Phu Tho Province with a visit to No Luc Catholic Church in Viet Tri City.
