The U.S. higher education system is well-known for its exceptional quality, diversity and flexibilty.  However, its affordability is less known to foreign students, especially those from poorer backgrounds.  This presentation will provide students at both graduate and undergraduate levels insights into financing options for studying in the U.S. and ways to secure the most generous funding.

This event is jointly-organized by the Public Affairs Section (PAS) and Institute of International Education (IIE).

Film Showing: Finding Nemo

Time: 14:00-16:30, Apr. 25, 2008
Venue: 1st Floor, Rose Garden Tower, 170 Ngoc Khanh Street, Hanoi

A clown fish named Marlin living in the Great Barrier Reef looses his son, Nemo after he ventures into the open sea, despite his fathers constant warnings about many of the Ocean's dangers. Nemo is abducted by a boat, netted up and sent to a dentist's office in Sydney. So, while Marlin ventures off to try and retrieve Nemo, Marlin meets a fish named Dory, a blue tang suffering from short-term memory loss. The companions travel a great distance, encountering various dangerous sea creatures such as sharks, anglerfish and jellyfishes, in order to rescue Nemo from the dentist's office, which is situated by the Sydney Harbor. While the two are doing this, Nemo and the other sea animals in the dentist's fish tank plot a way to returning to Sydney Harbor to live their lives free again.
