20th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Vietnam Logo Contest Announcement

On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Vietnam, the Fulbright Program, U.S. Embassy in Hanoi invites Fulbright Vietnam Alumni and current Fulbright Vietnam Program grantees in Vietnam and the U.S. to submit design for our Fulbright Vietnam 20th Anniversary Logo Competition. The winner’s design will be used for all Fulbright Vietnam 20th Anniversary publications and promotion materials. The winner will be announced in February and the award ceremony will be held at the 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner.
Submissions will be accepted until the deadline of January 13, 2012.
The logo should be submitted to https://creator.zoho.com/pashanoi/form/186. The design can incorporate the standard Fulbright logo but it is not required.
First prize: $300.00
All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges. Complete rules are outlined below:
Contest Rules:
Contest submissions must comply with the following rules:
• Contest is open to all Fulbrighters – current grantees and alumni of the Fulbright Vietnam Program including Vietnamese and American.
• Entries must be created digitally and formatted to a jpeg file with 72dpi, at least 2 MB but not larger than 5 MB. All entries must be submitted to the following address: https://creator.zoho.com/pashanoi/form/186.
• Entries should be in English.
• Entries must be an original work by the submitting individual, and may not infringe upon other intellectual property or copyrighted materials. Finalists will be required to submit a signature attesting to the originality of your artwork. In order to claim the contest prize, the winner will relinquish all intellectual property rights and physical ownership of the winning entry to the Fulbright Program Vietnam.
• By participating in the contest, the winner grants the Fulbright Program Vietnam permission to use, copy, modify or alter the image as needed without further compensation to you.
• Participants are allowed to submit up to four entries. Partial or incomplete work may be disqualified from the contest.
• Submissions including any objectionable, offensive, or copyrighted material will be disqualified from the contest.
• Submitted entries may be displayed by the Fulbright Program Vietnam at the Fulbright Vietnam Exhibition.
• The submission form will require you to write a brief description in English of the design concept, including why you chose to submit the entry, what the artwork means to you and explain any symbolism used and how the artwork follows the theme of the contest.
• The Fulbright Program Vietnam is not responsible for lost or missing submissions. Please keep a copy of your work.

• All entries must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012. Contest entries will be judged by the Logo Design Contest Judging Panel. The Fulbright Program Vietnam reserves the right to extend this deadline, if necessary.
