Fiction Lending Policy

American Center’s Lending Goals:

Our goal in circulating our fiction collection is to maximize the use and enjoyment of the American Center collections, further engage our patrons to read English language books and discover American authors. Everyone may borrow our fiction books!

What is required?

Fill out an online form at http://creator.zoho.com/pashanoi/form/203;
Provide a copy of your identification card and a copy of your student card (if you are a student). Please allow 5 days to process the paperworks before checking out the books.

Lending Time Frame: Individuals may borrow books for a period of 10 days.

Renewals: A one week renewal is permitted, providing there is no hold on the book by another patron. Books must be renewed by filling out the online form: http://www.creator.zoho.com/pashanoi/form/148

Overdue fines: Any patron who is late in returning borrowed materials will be blocked from borrowing any library materials for a period of one month.

Lost book fines: Any patron who has lost borrowed materials is blocked from using any library service for the period of one calendar year.

Customer Rewards: Customers who have a good record of borrowing and returning books will receive an American Center library card enabling them to borrow non-fiction books, audio books and Playaway units.
