Adopted Children Immigrant Visa Unit

DIA ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING PHU THO PROVINCE


The Department of Intercountry Adoptions (DIA) has notified the US Embassy that it has temporarily suspended referrals from Phu Tho province to prospective American citizen adoptive parents effective November 5, 2007.  DIA has stated that referrals issued prior to November 5, 2007 will continue to be processed in accordance with DIA’s standard procedures.
