Remember to print out or write down your “Appointment Password” when it appears on the Appointment Details page. You will need this password to make any appointment changes or cancellations. You cannot retrieve the password after closing the Appointment Details page.
You need only one appointment for several different services or family members coming at the same time.
Once you make an appointment, print the Appointment Details Page and bring it with you to access the consular section building.
Walk-in services are no longer available
In order to better serve you, we offer all non-emergency U.S. Citizen Services by appointment (additional visa pages, regular passport services, consular report of birth abroad, notarial services, and other services), effective January 1, 2012.
This change will benefit you, our customer: you will be able to arrive at your allotted time knowing that you’ll be seen promptly and that we will have appropriate staff available to handle your case. Our goal is to provide you with more efficient service. In order to make this improvement, we can no longer accept same-day appointments through our Appointment System.
Appointments are opened at 8:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday.
