ACS Appointment System
In order to better serve you, we offer all non-emergency U.S. Citizen Services by appointment (additional visa pages, regular passport services, consular report of birth abroad, notarial services and other services), effective January 1, 2012.
Appointments are typically given between 1:00pm – 3:00pm Monday – Thursday and you only need 1 appointment for multiple services. Walk-in services are no longer available.
This is a tremendous benefit to you, our customer: you will be able to arrive at your allotted time knowing that you’ll be seen promptly and that we will have appropriate staff available to handle your case! We are sure this improvement will provide you a more efficient experience.
In order to make this improvement, though, we can no longer accept same-day appointments through our Appointment System.
When making your appointments, please select the appropriate service. “Report the birth abroad of a child of a U.S. citizen" and/or "apply for the child's first passport, Report of Birth and Social Security Number” are services that require more resources and need to be requested in advance.
Of course, we are always available to American citizens with an emergency (such as cases of severe illness, death, lost/stolen passports, destitution or arrest).
