Regulations

American Center Hours:  Monday: 1:00 – 5:30 pm; Tuesday – Friday: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 – 5:30 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

1.  Sign-in and sign-out at the Visitor Log Book each time you arrive and leave the Center. Register to become an AC member at http://creator.zoho.com/pashanoi/form/14

2. Your belongings: All belongings must be stored in lockers outside the Center. Patrons are responsible for their own belongings and the locker key.

3. User responsibilities: Do not write on books and magazines. Put them on the mobile shelf after use. Keep the Center clean and neat.

4. Register to attend AC’s events at http://creator.zoho.com/pashanoi/form/10.

5. Books and Magazines: See the chart for location of the book shelves by themes. Check the online database http://tinyurl.com/achanoi to search all books and magazines available at the AC.

6. Computers, Internet Access, and CNN Wireless Headphones: Patrons may use computers with Internet access for educational purposes only. Online games and chatting are prohibited. Patrons may use the wireless headphones to listen to CNN.

7. CD/DVDs: Contact AC staff to borrow DVDs, CDs, and DVD players.

8. Print service: Please contact AC interns/staff before printing. Patrons may print 20 pages per day with their support.

9. Book circulation: Patrons may borrow 2 fiction titles for a 10 day loan period. Except for checked out fiction and free books, NO OTHER BOOKS MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE CENTER.

10. Free materials: You may take 1 booklet per day from the Free Bookshelf.
